March 14, 2013 (Something Exciting!)

Today I've got a story. I don't want to bore you with all of this introduction stuff,so here it is:

I was flying with my friend Dyve, and we were just heading over a valley when we heard a roar and a hiss. I looked at Dyve, and we both plunged downward. It sounded like a dragon was being attacked or something! We needed to see what it was, and maybe try and help.
The noise was coming from this forest, and we had no idea what could be in there. So we went! Why not? Did that seem reckless to you? Oh well, it was worth it.
We saw the source of the sounds, then, the sounds that kept going, roaring and hissing and screeching. A golden dragon was locked in battle with a horrifying panther-like beast! It( the monster, not the dragon) had like five eyes, and they were blank, they didn't have pupils! It had a forked tongue, and teeth sharper than my claws. It had claws too, of course, which were scratching at the dragon it fought. Dyve and I launched ourselves into the fight without hesitation, hoping to confuse the panther-thing. I was on top of it for a second, then it was on top of me, claws scratching into my back. I winced and struggled, and then Dyve shoved it off. It snarled at us, then tried to launch itself at the golden dragon. But Dyve blocked its path. He roared as the panther-thing knocked him down, and I pounced onto the creature's back. Then I noticed the spines on its back, just before hitting one. I reached out with my claws and spread my wings out, so that I could grab the spine, Then, I pulled upward, my wings beating furiously, trying to lift it. I saw a glint out of the corner of my eye, and then the golden dragon was helping me lift the struggling, writhing panther-thing. Dyve was free from its claws, and then he helped too, keeping the creature from squirming too much. Further and further we flew, and then, from somewhat high up(but not high enough to kill it) we dropped the creature into a river. That taught it a lesson; it obviously hated water!
We went back home with the golden dragon-whose name is Airin and she thanked us for the help-and we patched up any wounds we had. (Don't worry, we're fine! :) )

So, as always, remember to leave a comment! :) BYE!!!
